The Safety and Health of all employees of our organization is of primary concern.
The Management is of the firm belief that creation of safe and healthy working
conditions in the premises is more important than any other activity and the
management is fully committed to take any steps necessary to maintain to safe and
healthy environment at work. In this endeavor, the management expects every
manager, Supervisor and Workman to whole-heartedly co-operate in observing and
monitoring safe practices in the plant. The management would provide all the facilities
and the necessary training to all the employees at all operational levels in all the aspects
of safety, health and environment.
The management firmly believes that in achieving the highest levels of Safety and
in the protection of healthy environment in and around the work place, the participation
and involvement of all the employees is very essential. The employees will participate in
all safety activities organized by Management i.e. Safety Training Programme, Safety
Day Celebration, Safety Committee Meetings, Safety Contests etc. to minimize the
incidents / accidents and improve the situation in the area of safety, health, and
environment. The Management will inform the employees the hazards involved in the
work processes and the precautions to be taken thereof. The Safety performance of the
individuals shall be given consideration at the time of performance appraisal.
It will be the duty of all the contractor’s persons / visitors to abide by the Safety
rules of the organization and maintain the required standard of safety. No contractual
work will be carried out without clearance from the Safety committee. For the
improvement of Safety, Health and Environment, Safety / Environmental audit will be
carried out periodically. To reduce the hazards in the plant / machinery / process, the
Safety aspects will be considered at every level of planning, Purchase of material,
selection of person etc.
The management sincerely believes that accidents are preventable and these can
be prevented by everyone’s sincere efforts.
